  1. The !Limits file
  2. ----------------

  4. The file consists of a number of lines, each defining a limit.
  5. Lines start with a limit-name, then the quantity, then anything. If a number is
  6. out of range, you will get an error. Any unknown limit-names are ignored.
  7. There are limits on some of the limits as well, these are described in the
  8. file.
  9.  
  10. It is dangerous to decrease certain limits without resetting the messagebase
  11. beforehand as well. These are Areas, MsgSize, Lines, Msgs, and Holes.

  13. Here follows a description of each limit and what it does.
  14.  
  15. Areas        The maximum number of areas, inclusive netmail and junkarea.
  16. MsgSize        The maximum size of the message text.
  17. Lines        The maximum number of lines in a messsage.
  18. Msgs        The maximum number of messages.
  19. Holes        The maximum number of entries in the freespace map.
  20. SumIcons    The maximum number of icons on a line in the summary window.
  21. WeedTypes    The maximum number of weed types.
  22. WildCards    The maximum number of ArcMail or MailPkt names in !Config.
  23. AKAs        The maximum number of AKAs.
  24. DownLinks    The maximum number of downlinks.
  25. AreaFixReqs    The maximum number of commands in a message to AreaFix.
  26. Routes        The maximum number of RouteMap entries in !Config.
  27. AddrBook    The maximum number of entries in the address book.
  28.
